Competitive baseball has so many reasons for being one of the most successful youth activities in the United States. It promotes healthier lifestyles by involving our kids in energy expending activity. It develops a sense of teamwork and teaches kids the needs to excel as individuals but rely upon the capable assistance of others. It gives valuable lessons in fair competition and it provides a forum and venue for parent - youth interaction on a regular basis. It rewards excellence and does not criticize failure. It encourages participation in our National pastime sport.

By focusing on specific skill development and training, we can give them the attention and time to prepare them for the next level of play. While our goal is development we also never lose sight of why we play the game; to have fun, make friends, and teach our children how to grow physically and mentally and with responsibility, effort, and sportsmanship.

I have been a coach for 10 years. I do this because I, like many parents, see the value of this experience as healthful, emotionally stimulating, and one of the most practical and substantive ways we can interact with kids to aid in their maturity as competitive, honorable citizens.  You are a critical key to that process.

The Cobras need your help every season to keep expenses low.  The costs of equipment, indoor training facilities, and tournament play are rising, and player involvement can dwindle without the help of local businesses and individual sponsors.  We need to keep the cost  per participant at a level that encourages, rather than discourages play.  Sponsorship is the only way this can occur.

As a sponsor you will receive recognition in our team website and banner which will be displayed at home and away games.  To help families of these talented young boys be at their best, the 9u Cobras participate in various fundraisers and count on generous sponsors like you.
